new camera

We got a new camera! Our old one wasn't bad and it worked OK, but you would have to wait f-o-r-e-v-e-r in order to be able to take another picture. We decided that when you have a baby, you don't have that kind of time to capture the moment. So, much to Paul's excitement, we bought a new camera. Here are some pictures we've taken with it so far...

By the way, no baby yet. We will definitely keep you all updated. Our due date is May 19, and if this boy doesn't arrive by then, our doctor is going to induce on the 20th. We would much rather him come on his own, so you can join us in praying that he will come in the next week or so!

We have rose bushes on the side of our house. I don't know how to care for rose bushes, and last summer basically chopped them down pretty low. They must have liked that because there are probably over 100 roses on our bushes...so pretty!

The belly at 38 weeks.

We went on a date to a nice steakhouse. It is called Lisa West's Double Nickle, and evidently it is the 8th best steakhouse in Texas...who knew that Lubbock, TX would have a ranked steakhouse. It was really fun to have an expensive meal before the baby arrives. I have the best husband!
