Merry Christmas!

We are so excited to be with family over the next several days which means our Christmas will be full of food, laughter, games, togetherness and celebration in honor of Jesus. Our Christmas expectations have changed at the last moment as Paul's Grandma passed away last night. So, there will be a trip to Arizona in the coming days as well. We made the decision that we would look for ways to give presence in addition to presents this year...it looks like God has given us tangible ways to do that!

May your Christmas be full of JOY!

So sorry to hear about Paul's grandma. We pray for safe travel and God's blessings on all of your family this Christmas.

So, you don't know me. I accidently came across your blog and I just wanted to say that it is good to hear of random other people that have the same struggle with Christmas, Santa and their little one. We have a 17 month old and are undecided about Santa for him as well. We are ok with the notion of Santa and gift giving but feel there is too much emphasis on presents and not the presence of Jesus (to steal from your blog :)
Anyhow I liked reading the little bit on your blog and I hope this wasn't too creepy! -Monique Trader
