the conversation went like this:
Dad (this is Sarah's dad, not Paul): your pears are really good
Sarah: huh? pears?
Dad: ya, from your tree in the backyard
Sarah: what? those are pears?
Dad: of course. what did you think they were?
Sarah: I dunno. crabapples?
turns out we have a pear tree...

How are the pears this season, Sarah? :)
looks like the pears are ready to be eaten...how are you going to eat all of those. You should call every mom you know and say you are going to give them a years worth of pear baby food...homemade!!! Jackson loved/loves pears!!!!
lol, I had a similar experience with our pecan tree. I agree with Kristen, pear baby food is really good and really easy to make!
How do I make pear baby food?
That was funny!
Now you get to figure out what to do with all those pears! Pear bread, pear muffins, pear tarts, poached pears... and much more!
Pear baby food- Peel pear and core it. Put in blender with water. Blend. Add water as needed to desired consistency. ie: younger baby more water.
